J. Scott Wilcox is a Senior Vice President marketing the various Gabelli / GAMCO investment products to Investment Advisors in the Northeast Territory. With over three decades of experience and over twenty years of investment advisor relationships he continues to be one of our top sales people. In the Wholesaling department he has won the title of “Wholesaler of the year” numerous times. He has a positive attitude, great work ethic and likes to lead by example. He is always willing to help other teammates learn the business of wholesaling and selling.

Outside of work Scott enjoys spending time with family (especially his wife and two children), travel, reading and working out (Lifting weights, running, tennis, swimming and now Pickleball). He is a Blackbelt in Goju-ryu karate and has been learning Krav Mega.

He played four years of Varsity Water polo and was the Captain of his team Junior and Senior year. He is used to hard work as that is what he grew up doing up to and through college. Knowing what it is like to powerwash a house in the rain while being on a ladder forty feet high has motivated him to succeed wearing a suit.
