Edward F. (“Ned”) Wagner is Senior Vice President of GAMCO Asset Management and a relationship manager of high net worth portfolio assignments. Ned has sixty years of experience in the securities industry and, prior to joining GAMCO forty years ago, he was first a securities analyst in fixed income and equities with Equitable Life and H.C. Wainwright & Company and then worked in institutional equity sales with a number of notable firms including William D. Witter, Inc. and Lehman Brothers. He holds a BS from Xavier University, Cincinnati Ohio and an MBA from Miami University, Oxford, Ohio having served in the United States Army as Battalion Reconnaissance Officer of the 1st Armored Division in Fort Hood, Texas. For his service during the Cuba Missile Crises of 1962 he was awarded the nation’s National Defense Service Medal. An avid ornithologist and an accomplished three-cushion billiard player, Ned most enjoys the company of his four children.
