Mr. Gabelli has served as Vice President & Portfolio Manager at GAMCO Investors since 2018. He specializes in small and micro-cap opportunities, serving as the Portfolio Manager of the Keeley Small Cap Fund and as a member of teams managing separately managed accounts, the Teton Westwood Mighty Mites Fund, Comstock Funds, and the Gabelli Equity Trust. He also covers the Consumer Staples and Housing industries for the firm.

Mr. Gabelli joined GAMCO in 2008 as a research analyst covering the food & beverage industry. He began his investment career at Integrity Capital Management, a Boston-based equity hedge fund, where he followed small-cap companies in the technology, healthcare and consumer discretionary sectors.

Joseph holds a BA from Boston College and an MBA with honors from Columbia Business School. He and his wife have two children.
