Christopher E. Tangorra is an Executive Vice President and Director of Operations at Gabelli, where he manages the Global Operations Department. He also oversees certain aspects of the day-to-day operations of the firm. With 28 of experience in operations and automation, Mr. Tangorra specializes in making the firm’s processes more efficient using technology. Some of his notable achievements include implementing several portfolio management and trading systems at Gabelli and being one of the first firms to implement FIX (Financial Information eXchange) trading capabilities. Before joining Gabelli, Mr. Tangorra worked as Senior Accountant at Glider Oil Company. He holds a B.S. in Accounting from LeMoyne College, emphasizing his commitment to detail. Outside of work, Mr. Tangorra enjoys spending time with his family. He is passionate about supporting and volunteering his time to the Arts, which aligns with Gabelli’s philanthropic philosophy.
