Dan is Executive Vice President of Gabelli Funds, lead portfolio manager of the Gabelli Focused Growth & Income Fund and the Gabelli Pet Parents Fund, a portfolio manager on the Gabelli Equity Trust and Gabelli Dividend and Income Trust, and manages institutional separate accounts. He is a Managing Director of GAMCO Asset Management, having joined the firm after graduating Magna Cum Laude from the University of Miami.  Dan is also Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of MachTen, Inc. (OTC: MACT), a rural broadband and telecommunications firm, and serves as Board Chair of HFC, a national 501(c)(3) involved in Alzheimers™s care, support and education.
