Maximilian Caldwell, CPA, joined Gabelli in 2019 as the Vice President – Finance. He is also the Financial & Operations Principal (FINOP) and Treasurer at G.distributors, LLC, Gabelli’s broker-dealer subsidiary, holding both a Series 7 and a Series 27 license from FINRA. Before joining Gabelli, Max worked as a Controller at The Carlyle Group in their Direct Lending business, primarily focusing on Carlyle’s Business Development Companies (BDCs). He began his career in public accounting at Ernst & Young. Max holds a BS in Accounting and an MBA in Finance from The Gabelli School of Business, Fordham University. Outside of work, Max enjoys time with his family and rowing, sailing, cycling, and skiing. He also spends time with the local Scouting America pack with his 2 boys.
