individuals with an entrepreneurial attitude and an interest in the financial
services industry.
Tax Director
| Responsibilities : |
- Tax compliance, tax planning and tax accounting
- Prepare various federal and state income tax returns
- Calculate provisions (FIN 48) for 10-Q and 10-K filings
- File quarterly estimated income tax and sales tax returns
- Compile information and oversee federal, state, unemployment and sales tax audits
- Conduct federal and state tax research and year-end tax planning
- Ensure that the firm complies with periodic tax payments, information reporting
and other taxing authority requirements
- Sarbanes-Oxley tax compliance
- Develop annual tax planning strategies and review progress with leadership
- Perform various ad-hoc analysis and research projects at the request of senior management

| Qualifications : |
- Bachelors degree in Accounting required; Masters in Tax ideal
- 10+ years corporate and/or public accounting tax experience required
- CPA preferred
- Highly motivated with excellent technical and analytical skills
- Solid oral and written communication skills
- Strong organization and technology skills
- Big Four and investment management experience preferred
