  • Assist in helpdesk troubleshooting and technical phone support
  • Responsible for PC and software updates and rollouts
  • Develop reports in Microsoft Access pulling information from various databases and tables
  • Responsible for maintaining IT inventory
  • Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree preferably in CS/IS or related field.

  • Knowledgeable in computer programming and networking
  • Ability to carry heavy computer equipment (up to 40lbs)

    Ombudsman, Portfolio Manager Assistant

    GAMCO Investors Inc. seeks Assistant Vice President - Ombudsman, Portfolio Manager Assistant in Rye, NY, to participate in the Gabelli Global Small and Mid-Cap Value Trust (GGZ) board meetings and annual shareholder meetings as an Ombudsman. Requirements: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance, Economics or a related field and four (4) years of experience in job offered or related occupation: identifying and quantitatively analyzing investment opportunities; performing market research and analysis; and performing due-diligence work and company valuation analysis utilizing Excel and Bloomberg. One (1) of the four (4) years of experience must include advocating and accounting for closed-end equity funds and utilizing Factset and Thomson One.
